Revomon — Official public release on SideQuest!

We started with a closed alpha release that has been successful! You needed 2,500 $REVO to discover the revomon world and start catching your favourite ones! Several tamers managed to catch shiny revomon and evolve their starter to their final evolution stage, what a great performance!

🚀Alpha public release on SideQuest

On the 1st of August (today), we are releasing the game to the public with no minimum $REVO token requirement. All users having a VR headset will be able to now join and test the game.

We cannot commit on an exact hour, as soon as the Revomon game is published on SideQuest, it will be the green light to play it. A second announcement will be pushed.

👀What is SideQuest?

SideQuest is a VR platform that functions in the Oculus ecosystem and is one of our key partners. SideQuest is a third-party PC, Mac and Linux application that makes sideloading content onto your Quest super easy. It has a store page featuring a bunch of popular apps available via sideloading and a couple of extra features. In short, it allows VR application developers to offer their games on Oculus Quest without Facebook’s approval.

SideQuest has been recently backed by the founder of Oculus, and is also working with Oculus developers to support AppLab. We consider this as an opportunity to integrate a large network in the Virtual Reality industry. SideQuest is supporting the development of the Revomon game and will advise the Revomon team on key marketing strategies for deployment on their platform.

✅What VR devices can run the game?

Two game fortmats will be downloadable, an .apk available on SideQuest store and a .exe on our website. The version you download will depend on the VR hardware you have.

The VR devices that run the game natively:

Oculus Quest 1 & 2 (APK version)

The following VR devices need additional software to run the game.
The software is called Revive:

👾How to install the game for Quest users?

In 3 simple steps: You need to “Sideload” the game using SideQuest.

Connect your VR headset to your laptop.
Download Oculus Software & Steam VR overlay.
Make sure they are open.
Drag & Drop the Revomon.exe onto the Injector.exe located in the Revive folder once installed.

Bug fixing:

The store basket no longer pushes the player in the air.

The “send to battle” button is no longer hidden by the written chat.
Players are no longer randomly teleported to the player’s house.
Players will be positioned correctly after a teleport.
Navixy will be displayed correctly in the wild, in battle mode as well as in the RevoPC (in the house).

Swapping orbs after starting the release animation of a team Revomon will no longer make the orb float indefinitely.
Falling off the map in battle mode will cause you to reappear at your spawn.
You no longer need to have 2,500 $REVO to play.

Two new Revomon have appeared on earth!
1. Dosoil: Earth type revomon evolving into Comboworms at lvl 22 (not integrated yet).

2. Fungas: Poison type revomon evolving into Smogshroom at lvl 22 (not integrated yet).

The Revomon starter (Dekute/Gorlit/Zorelle) are now very rare to appear
The wild Revomon on Marquis Island will now spawn with a level between 17 and 20. This will allow players to gain xp faster and test attacks from their revomon a higher level.
