Following feedback from the community we have decided to postpone our $10,000 Video Competition until after the release of the Revomon VR Public Alpha in August.

Why is it being moved back?
The purpose of the competition is to harness the creativity of our awesome community to share early in-game footage in novel ways. In July the Alpha 1.0 version of our game was launched. Currently game access is limited to those holding a minimum of 2,500 $REVO as part of our Tier System rewarding token holders.
Delaying the contest until after the Public Alpha will allow in-game footage to be collected and shared by all early players, not just those holding 2,500 $REVO.
We recognise the benefit of this and don’t want to exclude early community members who don’t quite reach the token holder threshold.
More details about the revised programme for the contest will be released at the end of this month. There will also be some minor tweaks to the requirements to make it completely clear the contest is about promotion of the Revomon VR game, rather than the cryptocurrency elements integrated into the project. This will avoid us falling foul of TikTok’s recent ban on promoting cryptocurrencies.
What if I already have some footage?
Amazing! You can share it with us on Twitter while you are waiting for the competition to go live — footage created ahead of the contest will still be eligible for entry once it goes live. We are committed to rewarding early community members so there may even be some additional rewards for early entrants…
