Revomon Team in Dubai attending conferences, meeting partners & celebrating the creation of our formal entity Revomon DMCC.

Revomon have officially established their lead formal entity in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company is Revomon DMCC and is part of the DMCC Crypto Centre initiative supporting emerging blockchain technology companies.

This decision was taken after extensive review of options within Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere but the team eventually concluded that Dubai was the perfect home from which to grow the Revomon brand.

The team are in Dubai for a fortnight (08 Oct — 23 Oct) presenting at the World Blockchain Summit Dubai, attending the Crypto Expo Dubai 2021 and the Future Blockchain Summit with the Government of Dubai. Alongside this we also have a number of meetings set up with friends and partners from our emerging global network.

In summary: it is a busy few weeks for the team getting the word of Revomon out there and solidifying some of the partnerships that will take us to the next level.

Why Dubai?

Dubai is one of seven Emirates that form the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is arguably the best known. The history of the Dubai itself is one of a rapidly emerging metropolis from the desert and the country has had a start-up mentality from the outset. The results have been fairly staggering and where there once was very little there are now skyscrapers, malls, theme parks and resorts.

As the UAE focuses on moving its reliance away from fossil fuels it is investing heavily in tourism, green technologies and high-growth emerging sectors like blockchain DeFi and gaming.

While it feels like some places need to be pulled into the future Dubai is chasing it.

That has certainly been our experience regarding the business set up — DMCC have set up a specific crypto centre focused on attracting and supporting the most exciting blockchain companies in partnership with CV Labs.

CV Labs are building a global blockchain ecosystem from their Crypto Valley headquarters in Switzerland. We are excited that Revomon is being welcomed warmly into this global family.

In summary Dubai have offered us a comprehensive and supportive partnership that we feel is ideal for the growth of the project. The emirate’s location at east meets west also means we can continue working with our core team in Europe while also focusing on growth in our key strategic zones in South East Asia.
